Essence of the Bhagvad Gita

Below is the essence of the Hindu text, The Bhagvad Gita – a revered philosophical and spiritual guide.  I personally find, the study of this text bestows upon me a sense of clarity, centering and grounding.

Whatever happened happened for good. Whatever is happening is happening for good. Whatever is going to happen, will also be for good.

What have you lost for which you cry? What did you bring with you that you have lost? What did you create that has been destroyed?

You did not bring anything when you were born. Whatever you have, you have received from Him. Whatever you will give, you will return to Him.

You came to this earth empty handed and you will leave empty handed. Whatever belongs to you today was somebody else’s yesterday and will belong to someone else tomorrow.
